Does New Grout Need Sealing?
Grout plays an important role in supporting tiled surfaces and filling the joints between tiles. However, not every type of grout offers the same level of resistance to moisture and staining.

Traditional cement-based grout is naturally porous. This means it can absorb moisture, dirt and spills if it is left unprotected. Applying a suitable penetrating sealer to newly installed grout can provide additional protection and make tiled areas easier to maintain.
